Purpose:
The Friend to Friend Thrift Shop was established to provide an
opportunity for the citizens of the East Granby area to purchase durable
clothing at reduced prices, and to generate income to be used to help
stock the Friend to Friend Food Pantry shelves.
It is staffed completely by volunteers, and proceeds are used to
purchase food for the Food Pantry.
The
shop has clothing for the entire family—infants, toddlers, children,
women (including maternity), and men. A limited amount of linens, housewares, jewelry, toys and
puzzles are also available.
Location:
The shop is located in the historic South School building at 32
Spoonville Road, East Granby, Connecticut.
Take Route 187 to Spoonville Road, or Route 187 to Seymour Road,
then right on Spoonville Road.
