“The purposes of the Land Trust shall be to acquire land, either by outright gift or by purchase, or by gift or purchase of lesser interests in land, such as easements, leases, and otherwise; to maintain all land so acquired in its generally natural state for the purposes of conservation, and for recreational purposes not inconsistent with good practices of conservation, including the maintenance of forest land by trimming, cutting brush, making nature trails, removing dead trees in areas where appropriate, planting trees on areas acquired, and removing trash and other debris.”
