- LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT -

JANUARY   2010

I wish  you all a very happy New Year and hope that your holidays were happy and fulfilling with family and loved ones. We sure had some very different weather this past month, lets hope it will be more like old (New England)! Cold & Snow, What can I say?

I am looking forward to a very good year at the Society in 2010 and sincerely hope all you folks will take part in our actives, and the social events that have been planned for the coming year. Last year was quite productive with the restored Coach, Plantings around the barn, cataloging or displaying and storing the many articles and documents the Society owns. Thanks to all those willing volunteers.

It seems that we have our insurance figured out and taken care of thanks to the efforts of that committee; the fire marshal seems to be satisfied with our alarm system, emergency lights, and fire extinguishers. All is good!

I sincerely hope that all that can will attend our next meeting on January 14^th at the Community Center @ 7pm the program is The Building Of The Barkhamsted Reservoir. Should be most interesting.

Finely, I would like to remind you that it is time to renew your MEMBERSHIP, and thank you to all that have done so.
