LETTER FROM THE
PRESIDENT
Welcome to spring, and I hope some nice warm
weather. I saw my first Robin today and that
always make me feel better. I hope you all have
had a healthy and safe winter.
The stagecoach is still out in
South Dakota
and we hope it will be back in time for the
celebration, but there are no guarantees it will
be great to see when it does come back.
This is the time to think about who you want to
serve as your officers for the next year. I am
hoping to have someone volunteer to be chairman
of the nominating committee. Betty Ann Holly
has been the chairman for the past two years,
and this year she is very busy with our part of
the 150th anniversary so I feel
someone else should take over that job. So
please think about it and let me know at the
meeting if you can volunteer for it.
We also need to get the barn in shape for the
opening, and that means cleaning, displays,
planting and cleaning up the grounds. This is
going to be a great opportunity for people to
know that we exist and what we have to offer.
We also need volunteers to work these days, and
other days that the barn is open during the
summer.
